Yihe Tao (一盒)
is an Illustrator, 3D artist hailing from China. He holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree from School of Visual Arts (SVA) in New York, and is studying in the major of Computer Arts from SVA.
He specializes in creating Japanese retro-style visual art. With his imagination, he seamlessly combines elements that don’t typically belong in everyday life into real-world scenes. These seemingly absurd or unexpected details, when contrasted with reality, create a sense of humor and visual impact, allowing viewers to feel the childhood joy amidst the busyness of daily life.
He also focuses on expressing his own emotions and storytelling through his art. He gives his past experiences and delicate feelings into his creations, utilizing Silk-screen printing and 3D modeling techniques to enhance the texture and depth of his works.
